  • 4 cups sliced jicama (in 2 x ½-inch sticks)
  • 4 oranges peeled and sliced
  • 2 cucumbers sliced
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • ¼ teaspoon chile powder or crushed red chile flakes


  • Put all the ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Stir gently to combine, taking care not to break the orange slices too much.
  • Serve chilled or at room temperature.
